    Our top level of protection covers most mechanical and electrical parts against failure. Cover is available for MINIs with mileage up to 100,000 miles.

    Overview.

    Comprehensive cover provides our highest level of Insured Warranty protection and covers the majority of mechanical and electrical parts of your MINI.

    Failure of covered components for normal degradation (wear and tear) is also included up to 100,000 miles. You can purchase your Insured Warranty annually or on an ongoing, monthly basis.

    You can choose to include an excess with your policy, which is payable only if you make a claim. Including an excess in your policy can reduce the cost of your premium.

    You can choose to include MINI Insured Emergency Service with your Insured Warranty. For more details on the features and benefits of MINI Insured Emergency Service please click here. Should you choose not to include MINI Insured Emergency Service, MINI Insured Warranty Assist will only provide recovery to the nearest MINI Centre in the event of immobilisation more than half a mile away from your home address.

    Please note that Comprehensive Insured Warranty is not available for MINIs with mileage over 100,000 miles (at the time of purchasing your warranty).

The service history of the Insured Vehicle will be required by the Repairing Centre in the event of a claim.     Comprehensive Insured Warranty covers all mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle for failure - except the items listed below:

    What does Comprehensive Insured Warranty cover?

    Comprehensive Insured Warranty covers your MINI's mechanical and electrical parts for defects that may arise - with the exception of those items specified below:

    Batteries, all exhaust components (except Catalytic Converter), brake and clutch facings, discs and drums, bulbs and fuses, channels and guides, weather strips and seals, handles, hinges and check straps, trim, upholstery and cosmetic finishes, wheels and tyres, wiper blades and arms, glass, auxiliary drive belts, coolant and fuel hoses, the cleaning or adjustment of any component, all service items which will require periodic replacement. However all insured components, even if the failure is due to normal degradation (wear and tear), are included up to 100,000 miles from the date of registration.

    How long does MINI Insured Warranty cover my vehicle for?

    You can choose either:

    1. an annual policy for 12 months, or
    2. alternatively, choose ongoing, monthly cover

    As this is an insurance product, does excess apply?

    You can choose a policy with or without an excess. The excess is payable on the claims you make on the policy. You can choose an excess of £0, £100 or £250.

    Does MINI Insured Warranty include any additional benefits?

    Yes. A facility for UK roadside recovery only - Warranty Assist - is included with MINI Insured Warranty.

    Please note that this service is limited to recovery to the nearest dealer within the UK only and is not a replacement for the full assistance services and benefits provided by MINI Insured Emergency Service at home, elsewhere or on the road in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Continental Europe. MINI Insured Emergency Service cover is available as an option with all MINI Insured Warranty policies.

    What is the maximum claim limit for Comprehensive Insured Warranty?

    The claim limit for Comprehensive Insured Warranty is the purchase price paid for the vehicle (inclusive of VAT).

    Can I purchase MINI Insured Emergency Service at the same time as Insured Warranty?

    Yes. Simply select the option to include MINI Insured Emergency Service when you take out your MINI Insured Warranty policy.

    Are there any restrictions on which vehicles can be covered by Comprehensive Warranty?

    If your MINI has mileage of 100,000 miles or more, you can still take out a DriveLine Insured Warranty policy.

    What payment methods are available for MINI Insured Warranty?

    You can pay either annually or monthly by Direct Debit, depending on the type of warranty you require.

    If you choose to pay monthly, you will still need to pay your first monthly premium by card in order for us to arrange cover immediately.

    We accept cards issued by VISA, MasterCard and American Express.

    Should I opt for MINI Insured Warranty without Emergency Service, what assistance will I receive?

    Should you choose not to include Emergency Service with your MINI Insured Warranty, Warranty Assist will only provide recovery to the nearest MINI Centre in the event of immobilisation more than half a mile away from your home address.
